If you would like for me to meet with your student, please fill out the survey below. I will meet with the student as soon as possible. If this is an emergency, please contact my office at 417-751-9616.
Referral Basics
When should you send a referral?

A: Whenever you have a concern about your student or feel that he/she could benefit from talking with the counselor.
What happens once a referral is submitted?

A: Once a referral has been received, I will contact your student about your concerns. A plan will be made to assist your student at that time.
Will information be shared with you after I meet with the student?

A: The counselor- student relationship is built on trust. ASCA emphasizes the importance of confidentiality between School Counselors and students, while recognizing the rights of parents. I will share information with parents if the student gives me permission, and/or in the case of child abuse or neglect, harm to self, or harm to others.
