All About Me:

Hello! Thank you for visiting my website!

I grew up in Everton, MO and graduated  in 2007. I had my first job here in Ash Grove at Fred's Fish House, and it is so amazing to be back home!  After high school I went on to Drury University where I graduated with a double major in Psychology and Sociology in 2012. During my undergrad I met my Husband we had our first son Kelley John in 2010. After graduating from Drury I stayed home to raise my son. In 2015 I decided to go back to school and pursue my Master's degree in School Counseling K-12 from Evangel University. I graduated with my Master's from Evangel May 2017. During my time at Evangel I had our middle son, Beau Dawson in 2015 and our daughter Charlotte Grace (Charlie) June 25th of 2017!

I have been married for 6 years to my amazing husband, Kelley. He is a teacher and coach . Football is a huge part of our family dynamic, our boys learned their three point stance before they could walk, and I am sure our daughter will be no different. Our kids go with us everywhere and are very involved in all that we do, so I am sure you will see them in and out of my office from time to time. Having three kids means that my hobbies and interests are my kids and all the activities that they are involved in. Having a coach as a husband we spend a lot of time at the football field supporting him, and Kelley John plays every sport that he can ( football, basketball, and baseball) so we stay busy all of the time.

When I was in school and was asked the question " what do you want to be when you grow up" I would always freeze. All my friends knew they wanted to be a doctor, vet, or police officer. I knew I wanted to help people but had no idea in what way. It wasn't until I found psychology and knew counseling is what I was meant to do. My passion is working with middle school and high school students, middle school students are going through so many changes during this time and I love helping them navigate through this transitional period and I love helping high school students focus on their goals after high school. School Counseling is my life passion beyond my family.   I am so excited to be working in Ash Grove, it feels like coming home. I cannot wait to see what this year will bring and ecstatic to finally be an Ash Grove Pirate!!
