8th graders
As you finish your last year of junior high, it is important to start thinking about high school and beyond. Do you have any ideas on what you want to do after high school? Will you go to college or go straight into the work force? These are things that Mrs.Beckner will help you figure out over the next few years. One way that 8th graders can explore college and career choices is through the Missouri Connections program. Mrs. Beckner will help you to setup an account and complete a few interest inventories to see which careers best match your personality. For more on Missouri Connections, check out their website:
Make sure you are staying on top of your studies! It is also a good idea to start thinking about what clubs or sports you'd like to be a part of next year.
